Dim O'Gauble launched
Dreaming Methods latest work Dim O'Gauble is now complete and available to experience. The piece features multiple layers of narratives and surreal cut-sequences blended into a matrix of childhood sketches and drawings.
Early digital fiction work from Dreaming Methods will be showcased as part of the Computer Fine Arts Collection at Haifa Museum, Israel, in November 2007. The Collection, again including work from Dreaming Methods, was previously shown at the Digital Art Museum in Berlin last year, and concentrates on contemporary work specifically developed for the web.
Andy Campbell is currently preparing a lecture for the Fiction module of De Montfort University's MA course. Students on the MA are all professional writers working online from Japan, Canada, Eire, Netherlands and England. They will be discussing the work showcased on Dreaming Methods in an hour long Q and A session with Campbell on the 20th November. The lecture and its associated resources will also be available for site visitors to download in December.
One to One Productions Ltd run by company directors Judi Alston and Andy Campbell have recently completed the Flash interface and demo-movie work on the Norwegian version of www.whichbook.net - a site which offers a completely new way of choosing what to read. Developed by Opening the Book Ltd in association with Norway's Museums, Libraries and Archives Council (MLA) the Norwegian version - www.onskebok.no - will be launched at a major event this week as well as shown on National Norwegian television.
